Butt-Blasting Workout

Stretch A lot of us sit all day…at the office, in school, etc. So you need to stretch those muscles out.

  1. Kneel on the floor with one knee on the ground (like a guy would if he were going to propose).
  2. Squeeze your buns as tight as you can.
  3. Lift one of your arms off the floor and over your head and turn slightly to one side. Hold for 30 seconds.
  4. Repeat with the other leg.
  5. Repeat each leg twice.

Bridge

Now that you are all stretched out and warmed up, you can move on to the bridge (a Kiegel exercise).

  1. Lay on your back with your knees bent and feet on the ground.
  2. Slowly raise your buns up and then slowly lower them.
  3. Repeat 10 times.

Tube-Walking

You will need an elastic band for this exercise, available at many retail stores.

  1. Place the elastic band on the mid-point of your calves, halfway up to the knee from the ankle.
  2. Place your feet hip width apart.
  3. Step to the side. The elastic band will make it hard to walk.
  4. Take 10 steps walking sideways to the right and then 10 steps sideways to the left.
  5. Repeat twice.

Now you can stop hiding your buns with that sweatshirt wrapped around your waist!
